Manjari Fadnnis wins accolades and an award for ‘The Freelancer’ series

‘The Freelancer’, an enthralling Hindi-language action-thriller series available on Disney+ Hotstar, has garnered widespread praise for its exceptional performances and captivating storyline. Based on the best-selling book ‘A Ticket To Syria’ by Shirish Thorat, the series is created and written by Neeraj Pandey (known for ‘A Wednesday’ and ‘Special 26’) and directed by Bhav Dhulia (known for ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’).

Produced under the banner of Friday Storytellers by Shital Bhatia, ‘The Freelancer’ stars Mohit Raina, Anupam Kher, Kashmira Pardeshi and Manjari Fadnnis among its stellar cast.

In recognition of her outstanding performance in the series, Manjari Fadnnis was recently honoured with a special mention award for ‘Striking Performance’ at the Power Brands Bollywood Film Journalists Awards (BFJA). The award ceremony, held at Novotel in Juhu, Mumbai, was attended by luminaries such as Shabana Azmi, Malaika Arora, Chaitanya Padukone, Manav Kaul, Divya Dutta, Esha Deol and Tanisha Mukerji, among others.

Upon receiving the award, Manjari expressed her gratitude, stating, “I am thrilled and honoured to have won this award for my role in ‘The Freelancer’. It has been a privilege to work on such a fantastic series, with such a talented cast and crew.”
